BEYOND COLOR

Behind every successful man there is a woman. We have all heard this somewhere or the other. Haven’t we??

But before anyone thinks that I am interested to take a sarcastic dig at it, let me make my support for the tagline clear. I know an Indian couple, perhaps the most beautiful which is helping the one liner fly high. Check the man’s success and you find even SRK, the leading man of Bollywood promoting him. Hold your breath or rather your eyes before you see them. And the couple is "Mr. Fair and Handsome AND Mrs. Fair and Lovely". Hope you get their names. If not, then its the fairness of "Mr. Fair and Handsome AND Mrs. Fair and Lovely" to blame. Sorry for rewriting their names(this time in black). So beautiful they are that even God takes times to categorize them as humans and not aliens. Firstly it was Fair and Lovely with her impeccable figure to walk the ramp of the Indian market and then it was Fair and Handsome with all his masculinity to complement his better half’s success. So humble they were that they didn’t leave the public envy them. Cream and just a cream is what we have to emulate them.

Smear handful of cream top to bottom, left to right and on every nook and corner of your body and be ready to be a handsome man or a lovely woman. Forget relying on Cupid for finding love, rather be ready to for everyone to get attracted by you. Broadening and brightening of your smile are guaranteed. For anyone doubting me I would say “Ad nahi dekha kya?? SRK toh yehi use karta hain”.

Fair and Handsome – World No. 1 Fairness cream.
Zyada lasting Fairness for men who want Zyada.

At end of the day its beauty that goes to shit. Be it daily sops or films, exposed body part of anyone involved is painted with white paint.  Pulling out the trend from the reel life many of us do the same in our real life. Applying fairness cream a day keeps ugliness away has become a myth in today’s society. Beauty lies in the eyes of the beholder is true but branding beauty only on basis of fairness is next to blindness. Even someone who is dark skinned can melt you heart with his/her beauty.

Seeing people overload their faces with fairness cosmetics and then turn almost unrecognizable without them is idiotic. Isn't it??For them I can’t avoid but murmur the harsh words – ‘beauty without brains’.

Beauty and good looks are two different things, but both don’t have anything to do with being fair or dark. Looks is an accessory, but good character is mandatory.

Sidelining a person on basis of color is racism. Most of us desire for fair skinned life partners. Don’t we?? So we shouldn’t be ashamed in admitting that we are biased. We need to shed this. We should respect our own skin and body and be graceful to what our parents made us.
For me anyone who is clean (hygienic) and who has a good character to share is beautiful.

But seeing media and common public exude ‘Fair is beautiful’, I would like to join those saying ‘Dark is beautiful’.
